QuickDial Setup Guide - Windows XP

The following instructions describe how to create a new dial-up connection to QuickDial.
  • Click the "Windows Start Menu" and click "Control Panel"
  • Click "Network and Internet Connections"
  • Click "Network Connections"
  • Click the "Create a new connection" icon. The "New Connection Wizard" will now open. Click "Next"
  • Select "Connect to the Internet" and click "Next"
  • Select "Set up my connection manually" and click "Next"
  • Choose "Connect using a dial-up modem" and click "Next"
  • Type in "QuickDial" as the "ISP Name" and click "Next"
  • Type in 0845 123 2424 into the "Phone number" box and click "Next"
  • Type in your username (e.g. barnsdesigns) and your password (e.g. quickdial)
  • Ensure all three checkboxes are checked and click "Next"
  • Select the checkbox to "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop" and click "Finish"
To use your new QuickDial Internet connection double click the "QuickDial" icon on your desktop.
