QuickDial Setup Guide - Windows 95
The following instructions describe how to create a new dial-up connection to QuickDial.
- Click the "Windows Start Menu" and click "Settings"
- Click "Dial-up Networking"
- Double click the "Make New Connection" icon
- A dialogue box will open which will welcome you to the "Network Connection Wizard". Click "Next"
- Select the 2nd option "I have an existing Internet account", and click "Next"
- Select option 1 and click "Next"
- Select "Connect using my phone line" and click "Next"
- Select "Create a new dial-up connection" and click "Next"
- Type in 0845 123 2424 into the "Telephone number" box (leave area code blank)
- Make sure that the "Use area code" and "dialing rules" boxes are unchecked and click "Next"
- Type in your username (e.g. barnsdesigns) and your password (e.g. quickdial) and click "Next"
- Select the "No" option and click "Next"
- Type in "QuickDial" as the name for your new connection and click "Next"
To use your new QuickDial Internet connection, double click on "My Computer" then "Dial-up Networking" and double click the "QuickDial" icon.
