QuickDial Setup Guide - Mac OS X

The following instructions describe how to create a new dial-up connection to QuickDial.
  • Click the "Apple" icon at the top left of the screen and click "System Preferences"
  • Once the "System Preferences" window appears, click the "Network" icon at the top of the window
  • On the "Network" screen select "Which ever modem you have installed" from the "Configure" drop down list
  • Select "PPP" from the row of tabs
  • Type in "QuickDial" as the name for your new "Service Provider"
  • Type in 0845 123 2424 for the "Telephone Number".
  • Leave "Alternate Number" blank.
  • Type in your "Account Name" (e.g. barnsdesigns)
  • Type in your "Password" (e.g. quickdial) and click "Save"
To use your new QuickDial connection, click on the "Safari" or "Internet Explorer" icon in the dock located at the bottom of your screen.
