Barns Designs Internet Services have created a number of local portal web sites designed to aid in the marketing of the South West and to increase the awareness and give area information to the visitor of the varied landscapes, seascapes, coastal/market towns and villages.

These portal web sites have now been expanded to promote Accommodation and all types of Businesses/organisations within the areas.

We are currently supporting The Tarka Foundation to aid 1000 businesses to advertise FREE of any charges on the Tarka Country Back to Business Joint Internet Marketing Programme www.tarkafoundation.org.uk, which is funded through the Small Business Service of the DTI and the Development Fund for Rural Renewal, to assist small and medium size local businesses in the Tarka Country area.
